			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I just started &#8220;playing&#8221; empire avenue. It is either a novel way to metric your social networking or it is a time sink. So far I have done well simply by spending a few minutes on EA whenever I log in to check Facebook, Twitter, etc. Basically how it works is that you build net worth by:</p>
<ol>
<li>Engaging in your normal social networking,</li>
<li>Investing in other players, and</li>
<li>Having other players invest in you.</li>
</ol>
<div>The investing paradigm is similar to other exchanges. A good investor mixes their investments between income producing shares (those with good dividends) and shares that will provide a good resale. I am hoping that I can leverage the &#8220;game&#8221; aspect of EA to push through some procrastination.</div>
